Batman Switch Collection is Incomplete

During the recent Nintendo Direct, “Batman Arkham Trilogy” was announced. Unfortunately, like Jedi Survivor, you only get a fraction of your content on the physical media. According to the official FAQ, you only get the first game, Arkham Asylum on the cartridge.

Does the Nintendo Switch physical version of Batman: Arkham Trilogy include all three games on one cartridge?
Batman: Arkham Asylum will be included on the Batman: Arkham Trilogy game cartridge. Batman: Arkham City and Batman: Arkham Knight will require an online connection to download and install both titles when the Batman: Arkham Trilogy cartridge is inserted into the Nintendo Switch console. All three games will then be playable as long as the cartridge is inserted into the Nintendo Switch console.

Unfortunately, this trend will continue. Spyro only included the first game as well as the Assassin’s Creed collection. Even Metal Gear Solid Master Collection: Volume 1, will require a download. Modern gaming at its finest.
