I finally decided to buy a Evercade EXP, and as I said the other day, it’s a very nice upgrade. As I was playing games on my new console, I discovered that every time I loaded a new game, it started in TATE mode.

TATE Mode is a feature offered in many vertical shoot-em-ups that flips the screen 90 degrees, allowing the player to tilt their display and play the game with a longer vertical display. This allows the player to get an experience closer to what it would be in the arcade.

What I didn’t realize at the time was that you can select TATE mode for the console as a whole, or by game. My console was stuck in TATE mode. Once I figured out what was going on, I made a short video on my YouTube channel to clearly and quickly demonstrate how to fix the problem.
