Microsoft is no longer developing games for the Xbox One. Make sure you upgrade to a Xbox Series X|S or use the cloud or a PC. Wow! There are still plenty of options.
Microsoft’s video game studios are adopting longer development cycles, collaborating more with each other and finally ditching last generation’s Xbox One tech, if not that console’s playerbaseAxios
There were some rumblings that the Series S might be on the chopping block too, but that was put down. The Xbox Series S is still a viable platform.
The way Microsoft operates their Xbox division, you don’t even need a console. Get GamePass and stream your games. It’s not a perfect solution, but unlike Sony, you can play first run games.
