Rainbow Cotton Comes To Modern Hardware

Rainbow Cotton is a 2000 rail shooter, developed and published by Success, exclusively for the Sega Dreamcast. It is the fifth installment in the Cotton franchise and the follow-up to Panorama Cotton.

Rainbow Cotton is also the first 3D entry in the series.

Panorama Cotton was 3D, but on the Japanese Mega Drive, so 3D models could not be used. Additionally, only faux 3D sprite scaling was used because the Mega Drive did not have designated Mode 7 hardware, like the Super Famicom / Super Nintendo.
