Edia has announced that “Valis: The Fantasm Soldier Collection III” will release for Switch on December 7th in Japan. I have covered this upcoming game for a bit now, and you can read about it here. I have also covered the first two collections on my YouTube channel. I have a long history with the Valis series. Well, my history goes back to the Sega Genesis with Valis III. I owned it, sold and didn’t play it again until the Evercade Renovation Collection was released. I covered that collection here and here:

Valis Fantasm Soldier Collections on Nintendo Switch

The first Valis Collection was released on Nintendo Switch’s eShop on February 10, 2022. I bought it but never reviewed on YouTube. I did get a key for the second collection and covered it here and here:

I reviewed the Japanese version, which is great, but if you don’t speak the language, you really cannot understand the story. The Valis games really do have a solid story, wrapped in a Castlevania-style game.

I look forward to playing the latest collection. The Evercade collection that contains these games is good, but not perfect. I expect Edia to perfect the games.
