Would you build your own Arcade1up?

Yesterday, I was talking with a friend about the Arcade1up cabinets. He mentioned that he saw requests online for Arcade1up to sell parts, allowing the consumer to build their own cabinets. Currently, Arcade1up only sells replacement parts for the controller.

I have covered two cabinets so far: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Fast and the Furious.

Personally, I have little interest in owning a single-game arcade cabinet, and have since sold my countercade. If, however; Arcade1up were to release a “do it yourself” (DIY) option, I would absolutely be interested.

Possibilities

The standard connector for arcade cabinets is the “JAMMA.” Something like that would work, if there is some type of connector. Another option would be a simple and proprietary connector by Arcade1up. Personally, I would be satisfied with a HDMI option.

Do you have any ideas? I’d love to hear them.
